Pantethine with Gugulipds is a cholesterol supplement that combines a powerful vitamin (B5) and NT Factor®. Pantethine is a highly absorbable and biologically active form of vitamin B-5. It forms a reactive component of Coenzyme A (CoA) and the acyl-carrier protein (ACP). CoA and ACP are greatly involved in carbohydrate, lipid and amino acid metabolism. It has been reported to lower blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides by producing, transporting, and releasing energy from fats.

It has been suggested by some studies that pantethine may favorably affect lipids. It may also protect against some forms of cardio muscular disease. Studies have likewise suggested that it protects the body from a number of toxins. Preliminary data is leading researchers to further study whether pantethine may influence various central nervous systems and adrenal junctions.

Pantothenic Acid is another form of B-5. It is involved in the production of energy in the body and is a required component of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. It aids in the production and release of energy in the body from fats. The body’s ability to process cholesterol depends on normal levels of pantothenic acid.

Gugulipids are the protein lipids taken from the guggul plant. Historically guggul has been used to treat such ailments as rheumatism and obesity. It has been approved in India for the treatment of lowering serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

It contains ketonic steroid in a form that appears to be responsible for the cholesterol and triglyceride lowering benefits. At the same time it will lower the LDL and VLDL cholesterols while raising the HDL cholesterol. Early research shows the guggul may decrease platelet stickiness lowering coronary artery disease.
