Chronic Fatigue Reduced by 35 Percent in 12 Weeks
NT Factor significantly reduced moderate fatigue in a group of people with a mean age of 68, and restored the function of mitochondria, the energy producing components of cells, to levels that are typical for young adults. The open-label study examined 20 people, half of whom suffered from moderate fatigue and half from mild fatigue. The Piper Fatigue Scale was used to measure degree of fatigue.

Among those who were moderately fatigued, supplementation with NT Factor reduced fatigue by 20 percent after 4 weeks, by 33 percent after 8 weeks, and by 35 percent after 12 weeks. Among the moderately fatigued, the function of mitochondria was improved by 15 percent after 4 weeks, and by 26 percent after 8 weeks.

Ceasing to take the supplement brought about a gradual return of fatigue and a gradual reduction in mitochondrial function toward baseline levels, indicating that continued use of the supplement was necessary to maintain improved levels of energy. The same benefits were not observed among those who suffered from mild fatigue.
